Anthony R. D’Amato, Jr., also known as ZeroDarkTony, spent a significant portion of an August 8, 2026 YouTube livestream addressing DOA, also known as Scott Hochstetter. D’Amato stated his intent to counter-sue Scott if sued him over swatting, to subpoena Scott’s accounts and communications with named third parties, and to file a hate crime report with LAPD.
He ended the broadcast by telling viewers he was leaving to go to the police station. D’Amato referenced prior police reports he claimed to have already filed against Scott, and framed the new filings as a response to Scott’s alleged distribution of physical flyers and what D’Amato described as targeting based on his religion. He also extended counter-suit advice to others, telling viewers he recommends everyone being sued by Scott to counter-sue and pursue discovery.
