Background

His content centers on feuds with other online personalities and what he describes as anti-Scientology activism. The individuals targeted during the broadcast include Nora Ames, an ex-Scientologist; Mindy Willens, a performer and anti-Scientology activist; Scott Hochstetter, a streamer known as “DOA”; Eric Levai, a journalist; Solomon, who was a minor when D’Amato began his harassment campaign against him and his family; Hero Light Cody (HLC), an anonymous commentator who helps operate this website; and DanWalksLA, a person D’Amato incorrectly believed to be HLC at the time of the broadcast.

D’Amato is aware of his legal exposure throughout. Monetization
Throughout the broadcast D’Amato accepts donations via Rumble’s “Rumble Rant” feature, with individual contributions ranging from $5 to $200. Donors are thanked by name on air. The monetization is not separate from the harassment. It is the point. The threats and abuse are the content that drives the donations, and the donations fund more of the same.
Pattern of Conduct
The December 7 stream is not an isolated incident. D’Amato references prior harassment campaigns against the same individuals and prior production of AI-generated sexual abuse imagery. He describes his move from YouTube to Rumble as deliberate, stating that Rumble allows him to say things YouTube would not permit.
The targets in this stream share a common experience: they crossed D’Amato — or he believed they did — and became subjects of a sustained, public, monetized campaign designed to cause maximum psychological harm.
