Anthony R. D’Amato, Jr., also known as ZeroDarkTony, pronounced a formal curse on unnamed rivals during a September 25, 2026 YouTube livestream. D’Amato invoked the Italian evil eye, or “malocchio,” directed at competitors he accused of operating fake chat accounts and deceiving their audiences. The stream also included D’Amato’s statement that he would only mention those rivals again if they paid him.
“I Wouldn’t Go on Any Boats If I Were You”
D’Amato framed the curse as karmic consequence, telling his audience that rivals who “spend your days and nights weaving deception” would inevitably be exposed. He named the target group collectively, stated “I officially give them all the Malocchio,” and repeated the word three times before declaring, “You’re cursed.” The travel warning, “Don’t go on any boats or airplanes,” was delivered in the same sequence without qualification. D’Amato then added, “But it would happen with anybody. It’s not just me. When you target and mess with other people, it always comes around,” attributing the outcome to a general principle rather than his own action.
D’Amato also claimed on stream that a person he referred to as “the respondent” aka Krackhead Kenny had effectively disclosed their own location by showing a trash can with an address visible on camera. He stated that “other people figured it out” afterward. That claim, along with the broader accusation that rivals had spent what he characterized as “a lifetime” of hours targeting him, was offered as context for why he considered the curse warranted. Chat activity during the segment was dominated by just two accounts.

What Is the Malocchio?
Malocchio is Italian for “evil eye,” a superstition rooted in southern Italian folk tradition and in much older Mediterranean belief. Its engine is envy. When someone looks at another person, or at that person’s success, health, family, or possessions, with resentment or covetousness, the ill will is believed to travel through the gaze and land on the target as misfortune: illness, headaches, a run of bad luck.
The tradition blames the malocchio for everyday troubles, not disasters. The boats and airplanes were D’Amato’s own addition.
The Envy Test
D’Amato presented the curse as karma, a consequence his rivals had earned through their own deception. The superstition he chose does not work that way. The malocchio has nothing to do with what the target deserves. Its power comes entirely from the person casting it, and it only takes hold when envy sits behind the look.
That turns a successful malocchio into a confession. Within the superstition, the curse lands only if the one casting it resents or covets what the target has.
D’Amato accused his rivals of propping up their chats with fake accounts. His own chat, during the curse, was dominated by two.
Either the curse is empty words, or it works. By the rules of the tradition D’Amato invoked, it can only work for one reason: ZeroDarkTony is jealous of the people he cursed.
