After the article, “You See Something, Say Something, Remember”: ZeroDarkTony’s Instruction to Viewers, and the Same-Day Call to Slidell PD That Followed – HERO / NOT / ZERO, was published, a YouTube user @Pippie807 responded. She appeared to confirm that she was indeed the “Lori from Minnesota” in the police report that was documented there.
In the comment, she said she called Slidell PD after a streamer known as “Krackhead Kenny,” who she refers to as “Jarrod,” threatened, during a fight with his wife, to go to her church “to bang up people.” She said she was concerned for the people at the church, not for his wife. She wrote that an officer went to his house, and that she might have saved someone.
We went back to the incident report to check that claim.
What the cover sheet confirms
A complaint was received by telephone on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 4:44 p.m. This time was AFTER the ZeroDarkTony stream in which it was suggested that someone should make the report if they “saw something.” However, @Pippie807 had claimed in chat earlier that day that she had already made two reports.
The report was logged under offense code 21, “Complaint,” with Officers Moeller and Bowen listed as responding and responsible. The file closed the same day with a disposition of “NAT,” Necessary Action Taken, and a final radio log entry at 5:30 p.m. reading “10-98,” the code for assignment completed.
A call was made. It was logged. On that, the comment holds up.
What the narrative says
The narrative page names the subject as Jared Brooks, and his wife. “Lori” told Officer Moeller she saw a YouTube Live video, posted under the name Roastwarz2, in which Brooks said he would go to his wife’s Jehovah’s Witness church, “cause havoc,” and “throw a few punches.” She said she knew Brooks from arguing with him online before and stated his address in Slidell. She did not know the name of the church.
Officer Moeller tried to reach Jared Brooks and his wife by phone. Neither answered. Moeller then found the video and watched it: a black screen, with the sound of someone snoring. Moeller checked the comments and found viewers telling Brooks to give his wife time and work it out. No threats appeared in the video or the comments.
No officer went to the house. The response was a phone call that went unanswered, and a review of a livestream that showed nothing.
What this means
The claim that “an officer went to his house” does not hold up. The report documents an attempted phone contact and a review of the video “Lori” reported, not an in-person visit. The disposition, “Necessary Action Taken,” reflects that outreach and review, not a welfare check at a residence.
