Streamer claims coordinated surveillance of himself and his counsel; vows courtroom retaliation against unidentified actors.

Anthony R. D’Amato, Jr., known online as Zero Dark Tony, alleged during a July 25, 2026 YouTube livestream that an unidentified person followed his attorney (he didn’t say which one) from the attorney’s office to his home and verbally confronted him there.

D’Amato stated the incident confirmed his decision to proceed with a John Doe legal filing he described as “mostly written up.” He also alleged that separate actors had contacted and called his mother as part of what he characterized as a coordinated harassment campaign. D’Amato claimed throughout the broadcast that an unknown “following crew” is illegally surveilling both him and his attorney. He stated he is waiting to receive footage related to the alleged surveillance and framed the attorney confrontation as an attempt to intimidate counsel into abandoning his representation.

“Someone Was Stalking My Lawyer and Someone Followed My Lawyer to Their Fucking House”

D’Amato told his audience that the person who confronted the attorney never exited their vehicle but made verbal statements to the attorney at his home. He reported the confronter said to the attorney, “So you’re representing a piece of shit child molester” and said the attorney’s children were present at the residence. D’Amato characterized the incident as a direct attempt at intimidation and stated his attorney handles murder trials and has law enforcement contacts. D’Amato then described what he said was a separate coordinated campaign: online accounts allegedly posted that they were going to call his mother and then placed the call within five minutes. He claimed those same accounts had tagged each other in posts saying “we’re going to get him,” and said he has documentation of those posts to support a harassment claim.

Exhibit A

D’Amato announces on stream that the alleged stalking of his attorney has prompted him to move forward with litigation, saying: “Someone was stalking my lawyer and someone followed my lawyer to their fucking house… Now I’m definitely going forward with the fucking John Doe shit… There is a following crew that is following me and my attorney and surveilling us illegally… you invisible assholes are going to pay a really dear fucking price in that courtroom.”

D’Amato states that the attorney confrontation directly triggered his decision to pursue the John Doe filing. His references to “surveilling us illegally” and “a following crew” are his own characterizations of unverified conduct; the clip does not contain independent corroboration of those claims. The announcement of litigation and the declaration that unidentified parties “are going to pay a really dear fucking price in that courtroom” are on record as stated intentions.

Exhibit B

D’Amato addresses the unidentified confronters directly, saying: “I would just leave him alone if I were you… Y’all better step the fuck off of me because now there’s no stopping it. You have just fucking… you have hit the final fucking trip wire.”

D’Amato’s warning to “leave him alone” is addressed to unnamed parties, not to his audience. The phrase “there’s no stopping it” follows immediately from his stated intention to pursue the John Doe filing, placing it in the context of legal escalation rather than a physical directive.

Exhibit C

Recapping the incident for a viewer who had just joined the stream, D’Amato states: “somebody took it upon themselves to follow my fucking lawyer to his house… they stalked his office and followed him from his office to his home and confronted my lawyer. Verbally, verbally, they never got out of their vehicle… these motherfuckers sent somebody to try to intimidate my attorney… they had to follow him to his house where his kids live.”

This segment is D’Amato’s most detailed account of the alleged incident: he specifies the confrontation was verbal and vehicle-based, that no one exited the car, and that the attorney’s home location was the endpoint of a follow from the office. All details are D’Amato’s stated account of events and are not independently verified in this clip.

Exhibit D

D’Amato describes the alleged contact with his mother and his intent to use documented posts as evidence, saying: “they posted, hey, I’m going to call your mom now. And then they called her like within five minutes… you think that I’m not going to be able to prove harassment and then some? I’m going to dance on your fucking ass in that courtroom.”

Timestamps: 00:36:51 – 00:41:27 | Open clip in new tab

D’Amato claims the accounts tagged each other in posts and that he has preserved roughly a dozen such exchanges as evidence for the harassment claim. His stated intention to “dance on your fucking ass in that courtroom” is framed throughout this segment as a reference to litigation, not a physical threat. Across the July 25 broadcast, D’Amato placed on the record his stated account of the attorney confrontation, his claim of documented online coordination against him, and his announced intent to file John Doe litigation, with the John Doe complaint described as already substantially drafted.
